Brass Elbow Fittings

A brass elbow fitting is an essential plumbing component that is used to change the direction of piping by 90°. In the production of brass fittings, there are essentially three types of molds that are used. The first one is a heavier weight mold called the 01 type. This mold includes fittings such as adapters, elbows, tees, nipples, and so on. This type of mold comes in female and male, reducing, hose and other varieties. It is characterized by its special tempering technique whereby the brass fitting is put into a steam room for 15 days at a temperature of 170℃.
The second type of mold is a lighter weight mold which is directly sold after being shaped from a brass rod material. Unlike the 01 type, the color is not as shiny. Both molds have a similar brass yellow color, but the packaging is different. The heavier type is separately packed in an opp bag, while the lighter one is mixed with other pieces for packing.
The third type of mold is the chrome-plated color which is based on the IFAN heavier and lighter weight mold. Essentially, these molds produce a unique, shiny chrome finish on the brass fittings. The process of creating this type of mold involves a series of intricate steps, which ultimately result in a stunningly beautiful chrome-plated finish. Overall, these three molds play a pivotal role in the manufacturing process of brass fittings and are a testament to the ingenuity of modern manufacturing techniques.
